Giving Back to the Community
MISSION
While there are many programs and services for both teen parents and youth in the foster care system, many programs end for these young indiviudals once they graduate from high school or turn 18. There is a tremendous lack of support especially for those ages 19-25. Many of them face tough issues such as drugs, abuse, rejection, and adandonment. Luminary Ministries aims to be a support through this transition time by providing participants with services that guide them in their spiritual, personal, and professional growth. Keeping the gospel as the foundation, our goal is to provide life skills training and services to young parents ages 13-25 as well as individuals aging out of the foster care system

We plan to mentor participants and facilitate classes that focus on the following topics:
Faith
Basic Financial Skill
Domestic Violence
Education
